R.O.C.K.-Raising Our Christian Kids

The Bible uses the ROCK many times in reference to Jesus and God as the foundation of our faith. This seems to provide a natural acronym as well as visual reminder that our responsibility as a church is to support, encourage and equip parents in their role of the primary nurturers of faith for their children. Family Ministry offers ROCK events to help parents build their homes on this firm foundation. These events are designed to help “bring it home” in different ways through ideas and resources shared in special forums, workshops and classes either during the regular Sunday school hour, or in the fellowship time between Sunday school and worship.

All builders of faith in our children (which is really all of us) are invited to come and join us as we seek to live out the command to teach our children as well as fulfilling our baptismal promises to the children in our midst.
