Music at Massanutten

The Ministry of Music at Massanutten church involves close to 20% of the congregation. There are currently 10 music groups or ensembles active in the life of the congregation involving approximately 120 people. A part-time Director of Music and a part-time Organist/Accompanist support a volunteer staff of eight as together they direct Massanutten's Ministry of Music.

These 10 music groups participate regularly in the worship services at Massanutten during the period of September to June. There are a number of people in the congregation who offer their musical gifts throughout the year in worship who are not able to commit to being a part of one of the music groups. Yet they offer their talents as composers, vocalists, pianists, organists, instrumentalists, handbell ringers and guitarists.

Massanutten's Ministry of Music offers a place where musicians of any age can offer their musical gifts in service to the church to the Glory of God.
