John P. Leggett was called to be the Pastor at Massanutten Presbyterian Church in November, 2003. He is a graduate of Bethel College in McKenzie, Tennessee. He has a Master of Divinity degree from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, as well as a Master of Theology in Preaching and Worship from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, NJ.

Pastor Leggett came to Massanutten after having served the Brookhaven Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Nashville, TN for nine years. He has also served as pastor of the Manchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Manchester, TN, as well as an adjunct professor of preaching at Louisville Presybterian Theological Seminary.

John and Alayne were married in 2000 and are the parents of two daughters, Rachel and Sarah.
