Welcome from the Pastor

Thank you for your interest in journeying with the people who make up the community of Massanutten Presbyterian Church.  We hope you will consider becoming a significant part of this vibrant congregation of believers. Our worshiping community includes people of all ages, from all walks of life, and at different stages in their journeys of faith.  We look forward to the ways that your participation will enhance our desire to extend the love of God and the love of neighbor in the world.

Worship is at the heart of what we do, and we are careful to remember that our worship is not an escape from life but rather it sends us into the world to bear witness to the work of God making all things new.  As our Vision Statement proclaims, we gather for worship, service, and fellowship so that we can meet Christ in each other; pray earnestly; listen carefully; sing joyfully, all so that we can join boldly with the Spirt's work in the world that God loves.

In addition to our vital worship that gives life to our other activities, each week members of the congregation have opportunities to study God's Word through our Disciple Bible Study and other small groups; to participate in our LOGOS program for children and youth; to serve through the Food Pantry or one of the other mission concerns of the congregation; and to grow closer to one another through various fellowship activities. There is always something going on, and we invite you to participate fully in the life of Massanutten Presybterian Church.
